Case Summary:

This settlement resolves multiple class actions against Zoom Video Communications, Inc. The complaints alleged that Zoom (1) shared user information with third parties without authorization via software development kits install in the Zoom application, (2) shared user information with third parties without authorization through third-party apps that can be run on the Zoom platform, (3) did not prevent “Zoom bombing,” or meeting disruptions by third parties, and (4) did not provide the end-to-end encryption it said it would.

Note that two other lawsuits are pending in courts at this time. If you are a California resident, you must either exclude yourself from this settlement or give up your rights under those lawsuits.
