Case Summary:

This settlement resolves a class action alleging that the defendants conspired to fix or raise the price of aftermarket parking heaters. Parking heaters are used to heat commercial vehicles without running the vehicle’s engine. They include both air heaters and water or “coolant” heaters and associated accessories. The defendants include Webasto Products North America, Inc., Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America, Inc., Webasto Thermo & Comfort SE, Eberspaecher Climate Control Systems GmbH & Co. KG, Espar, Inc., and Espar Products Inc.

Eligibility:

You may be eligible if you are a person or entity who bought an aftermarket parking heater in the US, its territories, or its possessions, directly from any defendant or from any of their parents, predecessors, successors, subsidiaries, or affiliates, between October 1, 2007 and December 31, 2012.

Most class members have received notices based on company records. These persons do not need to file claims. If you did not receive a notice but believe you may be a class member, you must file a claim form by February 1, 2019 to be eligible.
