Case Summary:Vivid Seats, LLC has resolved a class action against it concerning tickets that it sold for events that were cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled. The complaint alleged that Vivid had an obligation to give customers refunds for such tickets and did not do so.

Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are a person or entity living in the US, its territories, or Canada who, at any time on or before April 1, 2021 bought a ticket through Vivid Seats to an event that, between September 29, 2016 and April 1, 2021, was cancelled or postponed or rescheduled and has not yet occurred.
Typical Settlement Amount:(1) If you bought a ticket to an event that was cancelled, you may already have gotten a credit in your Vivid Seats account that you can use to buy tickets to future events. You do not have to do anything to receive this credit. If you would prefer a cash payment, you must submit a claims form. (2) If you bought a ticket to an event that was postponed or rescheduled and that is cancelled after April 1, 2021, you will automatically be entitled to a credit in your Vivid Seats account, estimated to be 110% of the price of the tickets. If you prefer a cash payment, you must ask for it within twenty-one days of the cancellation.
Credits expire on December 31, 2022. Note that if requests for cash payments exceed the settlement money available, the amounts paid will be proportionally reduced.
