This settlement is part of the ongoing massive Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation, this time involving the former TK Holdings, Inc., now in bankruptcy and settling as the TK Holdings Trust. The complaint alleged that the defendants in this case conspired to suppress and eliminate competition for occupant safety systems sold to direct purchasers in the US. As a result of the anti-competitive actions, the complaint alleged, purchasers were forced to pay more for those products. Occupant safety systems include such things as air bags, seatbelts, steering wheels, safety electronic systems, and parts and components for them.

You may be eligible if you are a direct purchaser of occupant safety systems in the US, who bought these items directly from one or more of the following companies between January 1, 2003 and June 25, 2017: (1) Autoliv, Inc.; (2) Autoliv ASP, Inc.; (3) Autoliv B.V. & Co. KG; (4) Autoliv Japan Ltd.; (5) Takata Corp.; (6) TK Holdings, Inc.; (7) Tokai Rika Co., Ltd.; (8) TRAM Inc. d/b/a Tokai Rika U.S.A., Inc.; (9) Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.; (10) Toyoda Gosei North America Corp.; (11) TG Missouri Corporation; (12) TRW Automotive Holdings Corp.; (13) TRW Deutschland Holding GmbH; or (14) any co-conspirator of these companies.

Typical Settlement Amount:

The Net TK Holdings Settlement Fund will be distributed pro rata, with each claimant’s share based upon the amount of their approved claims.
