Case Summary:

TicketsOnSale.com, LLC and Ticket Fulfillment Services are settling a class action claiming that they had an obligation to offer payments for tickets bought on or before August 17, 2022 to events that were cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled between March 23, 2017 and August 17, 2022 and that they did not do so.

Docket Number:

Company: TicketsOnSale.com, LLC

Filing Deadline: January 17, 2023

Class Period: March 23, 2017 to August 17, 2022

Objection Deadline: December 1, 2022

Exclusion Deadline: December 1, 2022

Final Approval Hearing: January 19, 2023

Proof of Purchase:

You do not have to provide proof.

You may be eligible if you were a person or entity living in the US, its territories, or Canada who at any time on or before August 17, 2022 bought a ticket through TicketsOnSale.com or OnlineCityTickets.com to an event that was cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, between March 23, 2017 and August 17, 2022, and has not yet occurred.

Typical Settlement Amount:

(1) You may already have received credit toward the purchase of tickets to future events. The expiration date for these active, non-expired credits will be extended for use through TicketsOnSale.com through January 31, 2023. You do not have to do anything to receive this benefit. If you prefer to get a cash payment equal to the price of the ticket (including base price, fees and delivery charges, but excluding insurance charges, and minus any amounts paid with gift cards, store credit, or loyalty credit) to the cancelled events, minus any amounts already paid or any amounts spent in credit, you must submit a Cancelled Event Claim Form by the deadline.
(2) If the event was postponed or rescheduled but is not yet cancelled and has not yet occurred, and you lived in California when you bought the ticket, you may receive a cash payment of the purchase price of the ticket, minus any amounts already paid or any amounts spent in credit, but you must submit a California Postponed or Rescheduled Event Claim Form by the deadline. You must also relinquish any e-tickets, physical tickets, or transfer tickets you hold.
(3) If your event was postponed or rescheduled as specified but not yet cancelled, and it is cancelled after August 17, 2022, and you hold a ticket at the time of cancellation, you will be entitled to other relief.

If refunds claimed add up to more than the $4.1 million, then claims will be reduced on a pro-rata basis.
