You may be eligible if your private information potentially was maintained on Talbert House’s system and was potentially compromised in its June 2021 data security incident. Benefits: (1) Credit monitoring and fraud insurance: Two years of three-bureau credit and identity monitoring with up to $1 million in fraud insurance. (2) Lost time: Up to five hours of lost time spent dealing with the data breach, at $20/hour. Maximum $100. (3) Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses and extraordinary losses: Up to $4,000 for documented losses. You must have made reasonable efforts to avoid the claimed losses and have already sought reimbursement through any credit monitoring or identity theft insurance you have. (3) Injunctive relief: Talbert House has agreed to make changes to its security so reduce the likelihood of such an incident happening in the future.
