To participate in the settlement program, you must have had:

  • An ABG II Modular Neck Hip Step and/or Rejuvenation Modular Neck Hip Stem,
  • Implanted in the United States (or any U.S. military hospital), and
  • Have undergone hip implant revision surgery at least 181 days after implantation and prior to December 19, 2016.

The hip revision surgery must have been conducted related to one of the following reasons:

  • An elevated cobalt level
  • An abnormal diagnostic scan related to the reasons underlying the voluntary Stryker hip implant recall
  • Confirmation of tissue damage or pseudotumor related to the reasons underlying the hip implant recall
Typical Settlement Amount:

Most will be eligible for a base claim payment of up to $300,000. Some may be entitled to additional payments under the 2016 Enhancements Benefits Plan.
