SolarCity has put aside $15 million to settle a class action alleging it made telemarketing calls in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). According to the complaint, the company called numbers that were on the National Do Not Call Registry or its own internal Do Not Call List and also called the cell phones of consumers who had not give their prior written consent to receive such calls.Docket Number:

- You received at least two calls in a twelve-month period on behalf of SolarCity on at a number that was on the National Do Not Call Registry or on SolarCity’s Internla Do Not Call List more than fifteen days before the calls.
