Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are an individual in the US who had an Aeries account through the San Dieguito Union High School District at the time of the data breach, which took place on or around November 4, 2019.
Typical Settlement Amount:Benefits: (1) Credit monitoring services: Twelve months of credit monitoring services, including monitoring of your Experian file, a $1 million identity theft insurance policy, identity restoration services, and other features. (2) Compensation for ordinary out-of-pocket losses: Up to a total of $1,000, including 40 hours of attested time at $25 hour, spent dealing with the data breach. (3) Compensation for extraordinary losses: Up to $10,000 for proven monetary losses from fraud or identity theft for actual documented losses attributable to the data breach, not already covered by a normal reimbursement category, and that you have made reasonable efforts to have reimbursed by other means.
Note that the total amounts paid for claims cannot be more than the net settlement fund. If the total amount of such claims exceeds the net settlement fund, payments will be reduced on a pro-rata basis.
