You may be eligible if you are a resident of California and own a model PN51F5500, PN51F5300, or PN51F5350 Samsung plasma TV that shows a “line” issue and requires a new display.

Typical Settlement Amount:

Samsung may offer to sell you a replacement display so that you can repair your TV. If it chooses not to do that, you will have the choice of either exchanging your TV for a different model with a reasonably similar display size and features or accepting a refund of the estimated purchase price you paid for your original TV. The Notice says, “Samsung intends to exercise its discretion so that Class Members will be able to exercise this choice of receiving either an exchange or refund.”
