Eligibility:You may be eligible if you had an auto policy with Safeco between May 20, 2004 and November 1, 2014 that did not offer “Equal Limits” uninsured and underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage. There are two subclasses: Subclass A members, who did not have an accident under their policies, and Subclass B members, who did.
Members of Subclass B with current, pending claims with Safeco as of August 5, 2015 must opt in to the settlement by October 7, 2015 in order to have their claims fall under the terms of this settlement.
Typical Settlement Amount:Varies according to many factors. Subclass A members, those who did not have an accident under the policies, will have their policies reformed. Subclass B members, those who did have an accident under the policies during the class period through the fault of an uninsured or underinsured driver, and who suffered bodily injuries that would have entitled them to receive money or additional money from
