Case Summary:Monsanto is settling a class action on false advertising and promotion of its Roundup, Ace, and HDX weed and grass killers. The complaint alleged that Monsanto did not reveal to consumers that the products, and glyphosate, the active ingredient they contained, could cause cancer or other negative health effects. Note that this is a false advertising and breach of warranty case, not a personal injury case. Class members will keep their right to sue if they develop cancer or other adverse health effects from their exposure to the products.

Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are a person in the US who, during the class period for your state, bought any of the products listed below. Payments will range from 50 cents to $33 per unit, equal to roughly 20% of their weighted average retail price during the class period. See Appendix 1 for payments per product. Final amounts may be higher or lower, depending on the amounts in all valid claims received.
