Eligibility:

You may be eligible if you were employed as a financial services representative affiliated with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company or the New England Life Insurance Company, between May 15, 2011 and July 1, 2016, and you were (a) African-American/black or (b) of two or more races (not Hispanic or Latino), one of which was African-American/black.

Note that you may submit either of the following:

  • The Simplified Claim Form, for a standard award based on your MetLife length of service, period of employment within the Class Period, and “lateral” status, or
  • The Detailed Claim Form, which may entitle you to an individual consultation of up to 75 minutes with neutral parties to individually figure your award (which may be larger or smaller than the one for the Simplified Claim Form, or may consist of no reward at all).
