If you are making a claim for a Qualified Past Repair, you must have proof of the repair and of your payment for the repair. You must also have proof of your ownership or leasing of the vehicle at the time of the repair. If you are making a claim for a Qualified Future Repair, you may need other kinds of proof, depending on circumstances. See the Notice and/or the Claim Forms for details.

Eligibility:

You may be eligible if you are a current or former owner or lessee of any 2010-2016 212 E-Class Mercedes-Benz vehicles, bought or leased in the US, and originally equipped with the burl walnut or burred walnut interior trim option.

Typical Settlement Amount:

(1) For Qualified Past Repairs: Reimbursement for all or a portion of a past amount paid for repair or replacement. Portions vary from 30-100% of the price of the repair according to the number of years it had in service at the time, provided the vehicle had been in service for less than fifteen years. (2) For Qualified future repairs: You may bring your vehicle to an authorized service center for a Qualified Future Repair, with the percentage of coverage based on your vehicle’s number of years from its in-service date. Vehicles that have been in service for more than fifteen years are not covered by this settlement.

Note that the fading or discoloration cannot be due to external influences such as exposures to chemicals or harsh or abrasive cleaners and not otherwise excluded. Also, see the details in the Notice and on the respective Claim Forms for more information on details and conditions.
