Yes; you must have a police report on the theft of the vehicle. If you did not previously report its theft, you will have to do so before submitting a claim.

Eligibility:

You may be eligible if, beween January 23, 2011 and June 29, 2017, you owned a vehicle that was stolen or taken without your consent and then transferred or sold to RMR, at any of its Kentucky locations.

RMR is required to keep records of its transactions and, together with class counsel, has spent time determining which transactions may be included in this lawsuit. The notice has been sent to persons who are believed to be class members and to some potential class members.

Typical Settlement Amount:

Varies. If your vehicle was sold directly to RMR in a one-vehicle transaction, you will be eligible to receive an award of up to the average of the “Fair” and “Good” value of the vehicle in the Kelley Blue Book. If your vehicle was sold in a bulk transaction, you will be eligible to receive an award based on the average cost paid for scrap material by RMR, based on an estimated vehicle weight of 3
