Eligibility:You may be eligible if you live in the US and were sent a Notice of the data breaches telling you that your personally identifiable information (PII) had been compromised in one or both data security incidents. The data breaches, which took place on December 14, 2020 and March 25, 2021, were announced on or about March 16, 2021 and May 25, 2021.
Typical Settlement Amount:Benefits: (1) Aura’s Financial Shield fraud monitoring and protection services for 18 months. (2) Up to six hours of time spent dealing with the data breach, at $18/hour. You do not need to provide documentation for the first three hours. (3) Reimbursement of up to $10,000 (including the payments for time spent) for documented expenses related to the data breach. (4) Up to $50 for those who were California residents at the time of the data security incidents.
Payments for benefits (2)-(4) are capped at $4,000,000. If claims exceed this amount, payments may be reduced pro rata.
