Case Summary:The latest defendants to settle in this large antitrust case are Shinyei Technology Co., Ltd., Shinyei Capacitor Co., Ltd., and Taitsu Corporation. This large antitrust case is meant to benefit indirect purchasers of electrolytic and film capacitors. The complaint alleged that the various makers conspired to raise or fix prices for capacitors, violating antitrust and other laws, and causing indirect purchasers to pay more than they otherwise would have for capacitors. Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are in one of the indirect purchaser states and, between January 1, 2002 and February 28, 2014, you bought capacitors from a distributor (or anyone other than one of the defendants) made by one of the defendants in this case. The indirect purchaser states are California, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, and New York.
