Case Summary:Hibbett Retail, Inc. and City Gear, LLC are paying $6 million to settle a class action alleging that they and Sports Additions allowed point-of-sale credit and debit card transaction receipts to show more than the last five digits of the card number. The complaint alleged that the printing of such information violated a law called the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA).

- Made the payment with a credit or debit card,
- And Hibbett, City Gear, or Sports Additions printed a point-of-sale receipt for you
- Which showed more than the last five digits of the credit or debit card number,
- Between December 15, 2020 and February 23, 2022.
Single payment of up to $20. Hibbett may make this payment to your Hibbett or City Gear Rewards account. If you do not have an account, Hibbett or City Gear may create one for you. If the total amount of all claims exceeds the net settlement amount, payments may be reduced pro rata.
