Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are a woman (as specified in HP’s Human Resources Information System, Workday) actively employed in California by HP at any point between November 1, 2015 and November 3, 2022 in one of the job codes listed in Exhibit A.
Not included are those who entered into a waiver and release or arbitration agreement about their employment and those who were a recent college hire, that is, hired within two years of an internship where the age at hire was 23 or below with a Bachelor’s degree, 27 or below with a Master’s degree, or 30 or below with a Ph.D. degree.
Typical Settlement Amount:The amount of $400,000 has been set aside as a dispute fund. Class members can submit a Money Enhancement Request to ask for more than the settlement payment allotted to them if they have documentation to support that request. These requests will be evaluated on a pro rata basis, so that they do not exceed the amount of the fund. If funds remain unused, they will be distributed pro rata to all participating settlement class members.
