Eligibility:Two classes have been certified for this action. The Rate-Payer Class is all current residents of Missouri who paid for water provided by the Hannibal, Missouri public water supply system, between September 1, 2011 and February 28, 2016. No payments are being made to this class. The Medical-Monitoring Class is all current residents of Missouri who lived in Hannibal for a minimum of three years between September 2011 and February 2016 and drank or bathed in water provided by the city’s public water supply system.
Typical Settlement Amount:No payments will be made to the Rate-Payer Class. The Medical Monitoring Class will receive reimbursements for blood or urine cytology tests, minus any amounts paid by insurance or other parties. The $205,000 will be distributed to the Medical-Monitoring Class on a pro-rata basis, depending on how many valid claims are received.
