Eligibility:You may be eligible if you were a tenant of GHP properties in California between December 10, 2014 and May 16, 2022 and you were a signatory to a lease at the time you paid one or more late fees because your rent was late. The Initial Distribution will be made according to how many late fees each class member paid, distributed equally to all signatories of the lease, currently estimated to be as follows:
- 1-3 late fees paid, $50
- 4-6 late fees paid, $75
- 7-9 late fees paid, $100
- 10 or more late fees paid, $125
The Second Distribution will be made if there are sufficient funds left over in the net settlement fund after the Initial Distribution. Note that you will only be eligible for this second distribution if you submit a Payment Election Form by February 14, 2023.
