Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are an individual who worked for Gate Gourmet as non-exempt employee in California at any time between May 4, 2016 and October 3, 2022.
Typical Settlement Amount:Pro-rata share of the net settlement fund, which consists of two parts: (1) the Net Class Settlement payment and (2) the Net PAGA Settlement payment. The Net Class Settlement payment will be calculated by dividing the number of workweeks you worked for Gate Gourmet as a non-exempt employee in California by the total number of workweeks of all such class members.
One-third of this payment will be considered wages, subject to withholding, and will be reported on an IRS Form W-2. The other two-thirds, and all of the PAGA payments, shall be considered non-wages and will be reported on an IRS Form 1099. You may receive your payment by direct deposit, e-Mastercard, PayPal, or Venmo, if you select the appropriate option at the settlement website by December 16, 2022.
