Case Summary:

Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Bentley have agreed to pay just short of $95 million to settle a class action on their vehicles’ fuel economy. The complaint in this consolidated case alleged that certain of the companies’ gasoline-powered vehicles sold in the US had software installed that made them emit more carbon dioxide than they were supposed to and obtain worse fuel economy on the road than in test conditions.
