You may be eligible if:
- you bought any upholstered furniture, carpet underlay, or bedding product containing flexible polyurethane foam;
- that was made in the US;
- between January 1, 1999 and August 1 2015;
- in any of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin or the District of Columbia.
The lawsuit involves a number of manufacturers, but the products must have been bought from them indirectly (that is, not from these companies themselves but from another store or supplier). You must also have bought the products for you own use and not for resale.
The court previously reached settlements with two of the companies. Nine more settlements have now been reached, and class members with proofs of claims may be eligible for payments from all nine settlements.Typical Settlement Amount:
