Proof of Purchase:

If you are making a claim for reimbursement, you must provide proof that you are a member of the class, such as the unique identifier you were given in the notice you received in the mail, the last four digits of the payment card you used with Claire’s, or documents showing your use of your payment card for a Claire’s purchase.

Eligibility:

You may be eligible if you are a person living in the US who made a purchase online with Claire’s between April 7, 2020 and June 12, 2020.

Typical Settlement Amount:

Benefits: (1) One year of Experian’s IdentityWorks identity protection services. (You do not have to file a claim to receive this. Your class notice should have provided a link and a redeemable code for this service.) (2) Expense reimbursement: Up to $250 for up to three hours of documented lost time (at $19/hour), reimbursement for other expenses involved in dealing with the data breach, and an additional $19 for each credit or debit card on which fraudulent charges were incurred that were reimbursed by other sources. (3) Extraordinary expense reimbursement: Up to $3,000 for out-of-pocket expenses and charges that plausibly arose from the data breach and that were not reimbursed by other sources. Total reimbursements for this settlement in both categories are subject to a cap of $350,000 in total.
