Eligibility:You may be eligible if you are a current or former owner-operator, based in Illinois, who signed one of C&K Trucking’s standardized independent contractor agreements and provided services under that agreement, at any time between July 22, 2010 and July 29, 2022.
Typical Settlement Amount:Payments will be determined according to a distribution formula: The Settlement Administrator will first determine the number of weeks during the class period during which C&K issued the class member one or more Settlement Statements based on the services provided with one or more registered vehicles. Each settlement workweek between July 22, 2016 and July 29, 2022 will be counted as two Adjusted Settlement Workweeks; each workweek between July 22, 2010 and July 21, 2016 will be counted as one Adjusted Settlement Workweek. Each member’s share of the net settlement amount will then be calculated against the total number of Adjusted Settlement Workweeks. Payments will be reported to the IRS on a Form 1099.
