Case Summary:

Chipotle is paying $6.5 million to settle a class action alleging that its “non-GMO” advertising was deceptive. The complaint alleged that some of the meat and dairy products served by the restaurant (such as chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, cheese, and sour cream) came from animals that may have eaten GMO feed, and that some of its beverages also contained GMOs.

You may be eligible if you are a person in the US who bought Chipotle’s food products in its restaurants between April 27, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

Typical Settlement Amount:

Claims estimated to be paid at $2 each. Up to five valid claims allowed per class member without proof of purchase; up to ten per class member with proof of purchase; and up to fifteen per household with proof of purchase. Final amounts will depend on the number of valid claims received.
