Case Summary:Plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that CTVEA, the only cable service provider in the area, requires residential premium cable subscribers to lease one of its set-top boxes as a condition for receiving the full value of services for which they pay. The plaintiff argues that this constitutes and unlawful tying arrangement that violates Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act.
