Bricker & Eckler, LLP are paying nearly $2 million to settle class actions related to a ransomware attack it revealed around April 2021. The complaint alleged the firm was the target of a ransomware attack that took place between approximately January 14 and January 31, 2021, and that the cybercriminals obtained some personal and medical information that Bricker had in order to provide legal advice to TriHealth, Inc. and Adena Health System.
