This class action lawsuit alleges that Birchbox, a high-end online cosmetic retailer based out of California, automatically renewed online subscriptions without clearly displaying renewal or cancelation terms.  Many of the accounts renewed were free trials.

Everyone in California who purchased a subscription that automatically renewed from Birchbox between January 1, 2011 and March 6, 2015.

Typical Settlement Amount:

$10 in credits will be given to class members who had purchased a Women's Subscription. $20 in credits will be given to class members who have purchased a men's subscription. These payments will be given out in the form of two separate credits.
