Case Summary:The lawsuit alleges that Anheuser-Busch misrepresented to consumers that Beck's Beer is brewed in and imported from Germany. Plaintiffs allege that these beers are in fact domestically brewed but priced as a premium imported beer.
Anheuser-Busch denies all allegations of wrongdoing, however, it has agreed to settle the Beck’s beer class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and risk of litigation.
In addition to providing cash benefits to Class Members who submit timely and valid claims, Anheuser-Busch has also agreed to modify its labeling to indicate the product is “Brewed in the USA”.
