Eligibility:You may be eligible if you own a home with siding that was made (1) at Plycem’s White City, Oregon plant between February 1, 2014 and May 7, 2014, or (2) at Plycem’s Roaring River, North Carolina plant between February 1, 2014 and February 18, 2015.
The settlement Notice says, “It is presumed that you have the Siding on your home if it was manufactured at Roaring River and installed between February 18, 2014 and September 1, 2015; and if it was manufactured at White City and installed between February 18, 2014 and September 1, 2014.” Stencils on the back of each siding board indicates the place and date of manufacture.
If the home is jointly owned, the class member will include all persons on the title to the home. If you have the authority to do so, you may make a claim on behalf of all owners or opt out on behalf of all owners; otherwise, each owner must join in submitting a claim or opt-out application.
Typical Settlement Amount:Choice of one of three benefits: (1) Replacement and repair option. (2) Quick cash option. (3) Cash option with Proof of Repair.
