Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced that it had suffered a data breach on September 2, 2022. The complaint for this class action alleges that this data breach was a result of Samsung’s failure to properly secure its systems and safeguard the personally identifiable information (PII) it had acquired and stored on its customers.
