June 3, 2020

This class action alleges that FCA US, LLC is selling vehicles with a defective 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir II engines. The complaint claims that the vehicles consume excessive amounts of oil and, worse, “to avoid engine damage when oil pressure drops too low, [they] shut off during operation without warning.” What makes this defect particularly frightening, the complaint alleges, is that the oil indicator system does not warn drivers when engine oil is running low.
