Abbot Nutrition Recalls Baby Formulas with Cronobacter, Salmonella Complaint

Abbott Laboratories, which does business as Abbott Nutrition, makes the infant formulas Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare. In February 2022, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned consumers not to buy or use these products if they bore certain markings or lot number, the complaint for this class action alleges, because the lots could be contaminated with Cronobacter sakazakii or Salmonella Newport bacteria.
